Get Ready for 2025 with these WSU AXO events

I don't know about you but if the the first few days of this year are any indication, we're in for a rodeo for 2025! Make it your best year yet by strengthening your best relationships and spending time with your WSU AXO sisters. We have a lot planned in a lot of places and we hope to bring together all the WSU AXOs! Check out our calendar on our web site!

Monthly dinner in Portland, OR on February 8

We kicked off our monthly dinner series on January 4 in Issuaquah, WA. It was an absolute delight to spend time with WSU AXOs for a couple hours of sisterhood, laughing, and more.

Got an idea for where we should go? We're listening! Respond to this email and tell us where we should hold a dinner.

We have Portland on February 8th and are open for our March dinner.

On April 10, we'll be visiting Spokane and can't wait to meet our WSU AXO sisters in the Lilac city! Check your inbox and/or Evite app/account for the Portland invitation.

Make Lauren's Promise

Sigma Psi Sigma, the alumnae chapter for Washington State University AXOs, is thrilled to be working with the Omega chapter as they begin a new partnership with the national Lauren McCluskey Foundation.

As a first step in our support, we invite you as WSU AXO alums to make Lauren's Promise too which simply states that I WILL LISTEN AND BELIEVE YOU IF SOMEONE IS THREATENING YOU. This promise is for men as well as women and for hetero as well as gay relationships. Make Lauren's Promise at this link https://laurenmccluskey.org/programs/laurens-promise/

LMF is supporting the Omega chapter during the Alpha Chi King contest in late January. LMF will provide swag, an award for the fraternity that has the most participation in Lauren's Promise, and will publicize Omega's work in the Daily Evergreen as well as their own web site.

The Alpha Chi King event fundraises for ATVP as well as holds events on campus and Greek Row asking students to make Lauren's Promise.

The Pullman based non-profit was founded by two Washington State University professors after their daughter was murdered by a former dating partner on her college campus in Utah. Lauren grew up in Pullman and attended Pullman High School. Her parents established the foundation to improve campus safety and prevent more assaults and worse on campuses. Learn more about Lauren's story on their web site, at the ESPN documentary, or the Dateline episode.

Save the Date: April 27

Mark your calendars, book your hotels, and get ready for an awesome day at Hall of Committment 2025 at the Omega chapter in Pullman, WA. Hall of Commitment is an AXO ceremony where we congratulate our graduating seniors and welcome them into their alumnae status. Stay tuned for more details.

Congratulations to our Omega Cover Girl!

It's a rare event for an Omega alumnae to be on the cover of The Lyre magazine with a six figure distribution list but our Omega is a rare women indeed.

Melody Chang from Spokane, WA is on the cover of the current issue of The Lyre where is celebrated for her contributions to the arts and her heritage. Read about Melody here.

Closing out The Decades Edition

In 2024 we launched The Decades Edition as a rif on Taylor Swift's Era's Tour. We have two more decades to cover, 2010 and 2020, and then like the Eras Tour, The Decades Edition will come to an end. Coming soon, we'll be launching Omegas in the Wild where we profile Omegas from all walks of life from around the globe and right her in Washington. We have some interesting Sisters out there!
